Minor Alien Races of the Great Crusade Era Draft

 


Part of my fanfiction world building project of the 30k warhammer era

Races

Osirian Psybrids - were the term given by Imperial authorities to a race of highly psychic xenos. Glad in baroque armour containing ghastly barely-corporeal forms of mist, the Psybrids psychically traveled in hourglass-shaped vessels and mentally enslaved other species such as Humans and Orks. After inflicting severe losses on the early Ultramarines in the Osiris Rebellion during the Great Crusade, they were destroyed by Roboute Guilliman at the Battle of the Eurydice Terminal. 

Drugh - large, worm-like intelligent xenos species that lived on the world of Pyrus I and was known to possess potent psychic abilities. An examination of Drugh "mouthparts" by Magos Biologis Sharle Darvus revealed that this part of the species anatomy served a dual function as both a source of defecation and the primary means of consumption. 

Mitu Conglomerate – ruled both Human and other xenos worlds. The Mitu were pseudo(meaning “fake”) - actinaric (relating to or denoting light able to cause photochemical reactions, as in photography, through having a significant short wavelength or ultraviolet component.) psychic beings who are believed to have evolved from common (live)stock. They were capable of manipulating the Warp thanks to advanced technologies which were biological in nature. They forbid any attempt of space travel by the enslaved worlds of their pocket empire and viciously purged all Psykers they came across. The Mitu were known to periodically cull the population of their slave worlds and demand a tribute of flesh which is believed to have powered their arcane technologies. all Mitu were pseudo-actinaric entities evolutionarily analogous to the sea anemones of ancient Terra that proved psychically-empowered, highly-intelligent and masters of both biomechanical and arcane technologies. Descriptions of their physique have sadly all been lost, though they are confirmed to have resembled walking, fungal sea anemones with legs, with some variation between different breeds. Though the amount and orientation of limbs varied, they were bisymmetrical, aside from their misshapen, tentacled heads. 

Nephilim – The Nephilim had round torsos, flat on the back and the front, their heads being little more than lumps atop their torso, with a pair of beady black eyes nestled into their otherwise featureless face. At the end of their long, thick arms the Nephilim had hands with three stubby fingers and their legs were similar in form. The Nephilim social hierarchy was defined by the different colours of their bloated, oblate bodies: blue represented the "rank and file", green the "squad sergeants", and grey the Nephilim's "commanders". Sonic Weapons. 

Jorgall - The Jorgall were radially symmetrical with three arms and legs, scaly and horned skin, and an egg-shaped head with fleshy notches for mouths and noses atop an extensible neck. The nervous system was centralized in the torso and their circulatory systems pumped foul-smelling crimson blood. A mature adult stood 4.5 metres tall. All Jorgalli encountered had extensive cybernetic augmentation including wheels for feet, claws for hands, teleoptic cameras in place of eyes, subdermal armour, or implanted needler weapons. A group encountered by the Death Guard had two legs replaced with wings. The children of the race possess psychic abilities, which may be lost once they reach adulthood.

Abby Hatcher Rigging Demo Reel


 I had the pleasure of working one season 2 and a short time on season 1 of Abby Hatcher Monster Catcher as a 3D Rigger.

I primarily worked on props, accessories, and layout assets but also worked on modifying characters rigs into new assets.
